The Computer Science and Engineering Department at the School of Technology, Nirma University, has hosted a week-long training program on Recent Trends in Cyber Security, which was conducted by IBM with their associate partner, TheSmartBridge. The program aimed to equip participants with essential skills to combat emerging digital threats, covering key topics such as threat identification, data protection, and incident response strategies. The program included interactive sessions and hands-on practice on modern security tools, ensuring a practical understanding of the latest cyber security practices. Participants across India demonstrated impressive engagement and improvement throughout the training. As cyber threats continue to evolve, the department remains committed to investing in ongoing education and training to protect our digital landscape. Dr Vijay Ukani and Dr Vipul Chudasama coordinated the program under the guidance of Dr Sudeep Tanwar, Head of the CSE department and Dr Himanshu Soni, Director of the School of Technology.
