One of the final year students of Computer Engineering department, Mr Arpit Shukla, got job offers from 2 Multinational Companies (MNCs) as a Blockchain Developer. It is one of the latest technologies in demand and Mr Arpit cracked all the interview rounds. He got the offer from US based companies, Edge196 and Titans Finance.
Arpit has been working in the area of Blockchain Technology under the guidance of Prof. Sudeep Tanwar and Dr. Pronoya Bhattacharya since the second year (2019) of his bachelor. They motivated and mentored him during the journey of B. Tech. and helped him whenever he faced any issues regarding academia, research, or his professional growth. As of now, he has authored/co-authored 16 technical research papers published and presented in top international conferences and peer-reviewed journals like IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (01), IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering (01), Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies (01), IEEE INFOCOM (02), IEEE GLOBECOM (02), IEEE ICC (05), etc.
Apart from research publications, he has also carried out research consultancy and development work on a part-time basis in the area of Blockchain Technology with various international organizations situated in South Korea, US, Ireland, Singapore, and Mauritius during his bachelor’s.
