The CSE Department received a research project funded by ISRO, aims to tackle marine pollution along the Indian coast using cutting-edge remote sensing technology. Led by Dr. Madhuri Bhavsar as PI and a team of expert Co-PI (Dr Sudeep Tanwar, Dr Madhukant Patel, Dr Swati Jain, Dr JaiPrakash Verma), this initiative focuses on detecting and tracking macro plastics to understand their distribution and impact. With a budget of ₹16.8 lakh for two years, we are dedicated to preserving our marine ecosystems and ensuring a cleaner, healthier coastline.
