Dr Sudeep Tanwar, Professor at CSE Department and Mr Karan Parekh, M Tech NT alumni 2019 Batch, have won the prestigious Dr K W Wong Annual Award for Best Paper for the paper titled Blockchain-based electronic healthcare record system for healthcare 4.0 applications in the Journal of Information Security and Applications, Elsevier.
The paper was selected by an Editorial Board Paper Review Panel from a list of high-quality research papers published in JISA over the past three years (2019-20). It was judged and praised by the panel for its original contribution and impact.
The Dr KW Wong Annual Best Paper Prize was established in honour of the memory of Dr Kwok-Wo Wong, who served on the JISA editorial board and sadly passed away in 2015 at the age of 46. The award is sponsored by Elsevier (publishers of JISA) with the award prize worth US $750.
