On 11th January 2021, a very Auspicious event was held by Nirma University ACM Student Chapter, it was an interactive talk series with one of the alumni SHIVAM PATEL, who is a graduate student from Carnegie Mellon University and a former undergraduate student of Nirma University 2020. He has completed multiple research collaborations with top tier universities such as MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Cambridge, and Caltech.
He shared his knowledge and experience regarding his research career and how a student can achieve the same. The event was conducted through online Mode and approximately 70 students joined the event.
He covered a lot of topics related to research areas. And he gave a lot of ideas to join any research work outside as well as inside India. He also shared his view-point regarding the future opportunity in the computer science field.
He also explained the extravagant knowledge for aspiring future stream for researching in the computer field, He also elaborated about international university?s curriculum in the field of computer science and how to join their ongoing research area.
Mr. Shivam also guided students about how they can prepare for placements and also shares his own experience about placement. As the aspirants were quite grateful regarding the knowledge shared by Shivam because no one has ever got this kind of exposure in universities across the world.
The students were overwhelmed with this event as it resolves every query raised by the students regarding future research projects and placements.
