Towards improving technical expertise and fostering mutually beneficial knowledge sharing, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Indian Airforce, 17 TETTRA School and Nirma University, Ahmedabad, on January 25, 2024. at the Indian Air Force, 17 TETTRA School, Vadodara. Shri N Kishore, Commanding Officer of the Indian Air Force and Shri Anup Singh, Director General of Nirma University, signed the MoU for the Indian Air Force and Nirma University respectively. Shri N Rajesh Nair, Group Captain, Chief Instructor, IAF, Dr P.N. Tekwani, Director Research and Innovation, Nirma University, Dr Madhuri Bhavsar, Professor & Head, Department of Computer ScienceandEngineering, Nirma University and Ms Shreni Satani, Wing Commander, IAF were present during the MoU signing. The signing of the MoU is a milestone event with the Indian Air Force, with a focus on modern and cutting-edge IT applications, research projects and internships.
The MoU between the Indian Air Force, 17 TETTRA School, Vadodara and Nirma University has grown over the years, and subject matter experts from the University have contributed in shaping the technical acumen of trainees of Indian Air Force, 17 TETTRA School, Vadodara. This MoU will now enable B Tech, M Tech and PhD students of Nirma University to intern at Indian Air Force, 17 TETTRA School, Vadodara, on various technical projects, research and development related to emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Data Processing, Deep Learning, Cryptography, Network Systems, AR/VR, Security, Blockchain etc.
