The first ISCA Distinguished Lecture in India for the year 2020-21 was hosted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Institute of Technology, Nirma University on 7th February 2020. The talk was conducted by Dr Hemant Patil who is ISCA Distinguished Lecturer and the title for the talk was Spoofing Attacks in Automatic Speaker Verification (ASV): Analysis and Countermeasures. This talk was primarily targeted for the Postgraduate students of the CSE Department. The talk was attended by 55 students of MTech and some students from the Undergraduate programme.
