I want to address this to my juniors. During my time at Nirma University, I realized that professors are more approachable than they might seem at first. If you take the initiative to talk to them about their subjects or your interests, you will often find them willing to guide you or let you explore work under them.
The specialized courses I took and the guidance I received from my professors during my bachelor’s made my internship work significantly easier. Even after graduating, I reached out to one of my professors (Dr. Rupal Kapdi) to better understand her work, and she immediately agreed to help. That meant a lot to me.
Also, try not to depend entirely on AI for learning. It is completely fine to use them but make sure you understand the basics well. Interviews usually focus on concepts you have already studied in your coursework. Use the library. Read books or research papers in areas you are curious about, even if it is just a few pages a day. Ask questions to your professors whenever you feel stuck. I hope you make the most of your time at Nirma.
