Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, MTech in Computer Science and Engineering, MTech in Computer Science and Engineering with specialisation in Cyber Security and MTech CSE in Computer Science and Engineering with specialisation in Data Science, Master of Computer Application (MCA) and PhD programmes.
1. BTech in Computer Science and Engineering: With an intake of 338 students, the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year programme incorporating new and flexible curriculum aligned with National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The curriculum covers the theoretical underpinnings of Computer Science and Engineering and its essential topics. It also includes courses belonging to Science, Humanities and Social Sciences. In the minor program, students of the Institute have the flexibility of earning a Minor in a specialised domain by earning 15 additional credits. Minor is offered from the fifth semester onwards. 2. Bachelor of Technology in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning:
The Bachelor of Technology in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (B.Tech. AI and ML) program in the academic year 2024–25 is a start of a life-changing adventure that will provide information, abilities, and perspective required to successfully traverse the AI and ML landscape. The curriculum is carefully designed to educate the students for the opportunities and challenges posed by the rapidly evolving disciplines of AI and ML. In preparing the curriculum we have incorporated national and international standards of teaching and research. Our goal is to provide you with a thorough and modern courses that takes into account the most recent developments in these areas so that you can make valuable contributions to the future of technology. In this programme, you will explore a wide range of subjects to focus on the comprehensive tour of AI and ML.

3. Postgraduate Programmes (MTech): Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers M Tech in three programmes.
MTech is a two-year programme where during the first two semesters, students are involved in learning core and advanced domain specific courses. A one-year project commences in June or July and the project typically has a strong research component.
4. Postgraduate Programme (MCA): Master of Computer Application (MCA) is a two year programme with an intake of 60 students. A six month internship commences in the fourth semester wherein students work on a research/application problem either in-house or in the industry.
5. Doctoral Programme: Doctoral programme focuses on original research that can lead to publications in premier conferences and journals. Students are required to do some courses during their coursework, later on students will be involved in full-fledged research activities. The time required to complete a PhD may vary – however a typical time frame is three years.
