The Computer Science and Engineering Department, School of Technology at Nirma University successfully hosted an Expert Session & Hands-On Workshop on “Wireless Modules and IoT Interfacing with Cloud” on 13 March 2026.
The session was delivered by Mr. Nikhil S. Arora, Deputy Director at IN-SPACe, who shared valuable insights on wireless communication modules, IoT integration, and real-world applications of cloud-connected sensor systems.
Participants also engaged in a hands-on demonstration using various wireless sensors, where live data was captured and transmitted to the cloud for further processing and analysis, providing practical exposure to IoT-based data pipelines.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Sumedha Arora, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Nirma University.
The session offered students and participants an excellent opportunity to explore IoT interfacing, wireless technologies, and cloud-based data processing, bridging theoretical concepts with practical implementation.
