The Centre of Excellence in Data Science established at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering organised an online national level Hackathon (MINeD) during March 03-05, 2023 in collaboration with SUNY Binghamton University, USA.
The 48-hour long hackathon was organized to provide an opportunity for developing innovative and smart solutions in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Internet of Things etc. for the betterment of the local community and society at large.
The event received an overwhelming response in terms of participation from various states of India with 988 registrations. After scrutiny, more than 115 teams were selected to work on specific problem definitions. The participants were from around 27 institutions from the country.
